The Last Station

Last Saturday, Megan and I met up for a brunch and craft date! We ate delicious pastries, gossiped, knit, and watched a delightful movie, The Last Station. The movie is a biography of Russian author Leo Tolstoy, following him in the last months of his life at his beautiful home Yasnaya Poloyana. At one point, we both looked up from our projects and said, 'can we move there?' This mood board is a celebration of birch trees, eating outdoors, and romantic daydreams of living in the Russian countryside at the turn of the century.
