Summer Reading: Part Two!

My summer reading pick is Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann. It is the ultimate guilty pleasure novel and I am sure all of the glamour and tawdry behaviour will leave you unable to put it down.  It follows the lives of three ambitious young woman as they mature and reach the heights of fame and fortune only to realize that maybe they really cannot have it all, it truly melodramatic fashion.


I picture reading it poolside, drink in hand, being fanned by a handsome pool boy but I'm sure it would compliment whatever late summer plans you may have.
